What actually decides the time and cost of a move in Lake Town.
Many lanes inside the Lake Town blocks, Bangur and Patipukur are too narrow for a big truck to turn. We park the main truck on a wider road and run a small vehicle to your gate, so neighbours are not blocked for hours.
A lot of Lake Town homes are two- or three-storey houses with no lift and tight staircases. We measure the stair turns first and dismantle almirahs, beds and dining tables before carrying them down.
Newer buildings near VIP Road and Kalindi usually need lift booking, a guard entry pass and fixed moving hours. We call your society office a day ahead and arrive in the agreed slot.
VIP Road is the airport road and gets heavy by late morning and evening. We load early and plan the route to Salt Lake, New Town or the city around the traffic peaks.
