We live on the third floor in Golf Green with no lift. Is stair carrying extra?
Stair carrying is planned in the quote, not added on the day. Many housing blocks in Golf Green and Lake Gardens are walk-ups, so we send enough crew, dismantle beds and almirahs where needed and protect the stairwell corners.
Does the metro line over Tolly's Nullah cause any problem?
South of Mahanayak Uttam Kumar station the metro runs on a raised track above Tolly's Nullah, and some roads beside it are narrow with pillars along one side. We pick the loading spot so the vehicle does not block the road, and keep tall items like wardrobes away from low overhead wires and structures.
When is the best time to load near Tollygunge Phari?
Early morning, before the junction and the market around Charu Market get busy. A 7 am start is normal for us here. Evening and night moves are also possible because we are open 24 hours.
