Sometimes the old flat has to be handed over before the new one is ready. Sometimes a house is being renovated, a family is going abroad for a few months, or a transfer order comes before the next posting is fixed. In all these cases you need a safe place to keep your household goods for a while. How Our Storage Works

Free survey and quote. We look at what you want to store and tell you the monthly charge and the one-time packing and transport cost in writing.
Packing for storage. Furniture is wrapped, beds and tables are dismantled, and smaller items go into sealed cartons. Packing for storage is done more carefully than for a same-day move because goods stay packed for weeks or months.
Item list. Every carton and piece of furniture is numbered and written on an inventory list. You get a copy, so you know exactly what is in storage.
Pickup and storage. Our crew loads the goods and moves them to storage.
Delivery when you are ready. Call us a few days before you need your goods. We deliver to your new address in Kolkata or arrange transport to another city, unpack and reassemble the furniture.

What You Can Store, and What You Should Not

Good to store: furniture, beds, sofas, wardrobes, fridges, washing machines, TVs, kitchen items, books, clothes and documents in sealed cartons.

Do not store: cash, jewellery and valuables, gas cylinders, fuel, paint or anything that can catch fire, food items, plants and pets. Please keep these with you.

Tips Before You Put Goods in Storage

Defrost and dry the fridge and empty the washing machine at least a day before packing, so no water or smell remains.
Keep important papers, keys and daily-use items in a separate bag that stays with you.
Check the inventory list at pickup and keep your copy safe.
Tell us your expected storage period. A rough date is enough, and you can extend later.

How much does household storage cost in Kolkata?

The monthly charge depends on how much you store and for how long. There is also a one-time cost for packing and transport. Call us or send your list and we give you a written quote after a free survey.

What is the minimum storage period?

Storage is available for short and long periods. Tell us your expected dates at the survey and we will confirm the terms in writing.

Can I take out a few items before the full delivery?

Yes, with advance notice. Because every item is numbered on the inventory list, we can find and deliver the items you need.

Can you deliver my stored goods to another city?

Yes. When you are ready, we can deliver your goods anywhere in Kolkata and Howrah or arrange intercity transport from Kolkata to your new city.

Is insurance available for stored goods?

Ask us about insurance options at the survey, especially for high-value furniture and electronics.
