Most damage in a move happens because of poor packing, not on the road. A plate wrapped in newspaper, a TV in its old box without foam, or a wardrobe moved without removing its doors can break on the first turn. At Sunrisers Movers And Packers, packing is the main part of the job. Our crew packs each type of item in the way it needs, then loads, moves and unpacks it at your new home.
We work from our office at Lake Town, Kolkata, and have been packing and moving homes and offices since 2015. We have been IBA approved since 2018 and give a proper GST invoice for every job.
How We Pack Different Items

Packing Options
- Full packing and moving - we bring all packing material, pack every room, move, unpack and set up furniture.
- Fragile-only packing - you pack clothes and books; we pack kitchen items, glass, TV and electronics.
- Labour and vehicle only - you pack everything; we load, move and unload.
After the Move: Small Jobs at Your New Home
A new home often needs a few small jobs before it feels settled. On request, we can help arrange furniture reassembly and rearrangement and basic fitting work such as AC opening and fitting, water purifier fitting and small carpentry, electrical or plumbing jobs related to the move. Tell us at the survey and we will include it in the written quote.

- Free survey at your home or a WhatsApp video, to count cartons and plan the packing.
- Written quote with packing material, labour, vehicle and any extra jobs.
- Packing day - room by room, every carton numbered and labelled with its room name.
- Moving and unpacking - goods placed in the right rooms, furniture reassembled, packing waste removed.
Packing Questions
Do you bring the packing material?
Yes. For full packing we bring cartons, bubble wrap, foam, stretch film, tape and corner guards. It is included in the written quote.
How many cartons will my home need?
It depends on your goods. As a rough idea, a 1 BHK often needs 15 to 25 cartons and a 2 BHK 25 to 40. We count it exactly at the survey.
Will you unpack at the new home?
Yes, with full packing we unpack, place items in the rooms you choose and remove the packing waste.
Can I book only packing, without transport?
Yes. Ask us and we will quote for packing only.
Are you open on Sundays?
Yes. We are open 24 hours, all 7 days, including Sundays and holidays.
